Sears Tower lit up in World Diabetes Day blue Chicago's Sears Tower illuminates in honor of World Diabetes Day

In recognition of World Diabetes Day, November 14, AADE secured the lighting of Chicago's landmark Sears Tower. The building's spires went "blue" along with over 1,000 landmarks and buildings around the world. The goal: to highlight the epidemic of childhood diabetes. Our Side by Side website is still providing people with diabetes--and those who care for them--with vital self-care information, helpful tools and useful resources. The Side by Side blog is just one of the exciting features of the website. Two educators take turns writing about various topics in diabetes and self-care in patient-friendly, informal posts... check it out.
